We need YOU! This winter we will be offering FAFSA completion events virtually and in person. We will need approximately 10-15 volunteers to staff each event. To volunteer, complete the form below (required fields are marked with an asterisk).

After you register, you will receive a confirmation email. You will also be contacted prior to the event with details about the event. A FAFSA completion training will be scheduled when more details are known about the 2024-25 FAFSA. An invite to register will be emailed to you at a later date.

Virtual volunteers: Virtual volunteers will be asked to log into the event 30 minutes before it starts. Volunteers will be assigned a breakout room and work individually or in small groups with families to answer their questions about the FAFSA, FSA ID, or general financial aid questions.

In-person volunteers: In-person volunteers will be asked to arrive at least 30 minutes before the
event starts. There are various tasks, and your site coordinator will assign each volunteer a role.

Volunteer FAFSA training: FAFSA training is being offered to all College Goal Wisconsin
volunteers. The training will provide an overview and focus on changes on the 2024-25 FAFSA.
All registered volunteers will be emailed the volunteer training link the week of the training.
